I acknowledge on a daily basis how lucky I am to live in this country. Often you'll hear me talk about "First-World Problems" in an effort to bring myself or others back to the reality of how good we really do have it and to be grateful for every small blessing. While horrible things happen constantly around the world, gender inequality still exists in America and the gap isn't predicted to close until at least 100 years from now. I'm calling all men and women from all backgrounds to put the work in and make every effort to speed up the process to start healing social problems where we live and worldwide.
Many groups and campaigns are working to close the gender gap while celebrating achievements. I've made my pledge today at www.internationalwomensday.com to contribute to making this world a better place. Visit this site and many others to start learning about what you can do to create a better world for us all. Let's celebrate each other today on International Women's Day and every day.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
