We love women who find a way to use their talents to give back to their community.
Renata Helfman, a long time celebrity makeup artist and the founder of Vert, the first eco-chic beauty boutique in the nation, knew deep in her soul that her true path was to share her talent as a make up artist to help those in need.
Through her volunteer work at Cedars Sinai helping cancer patients, Renata was inspired to build a program that was designed to create an uplifting experience to support and bolster the self-esteem of patients dealing with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer treatment and so Lipstick Angels was born!
“My dream is to make Lipstick Angels a program that is accessible
to all hospital patients nationwide. Providing a comforting, healing
touch while restoring a sense of dignity through beauty has a potent
effect on the mind, body and spirit.” Renata Helfman
When this beauty is not out making a difference in the life of cancer patients nationwide, she loves to make time for her dog Cosmo and taking care of herself doing her favorite things like, cooking, doing home design and pilates! A true example of a Wonder Woman and an inspiration to us all, this is her story...
